Umpqua Bank has some 300 branches in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington, thanks to the merger with Columbia Bank, which has added new branches in states where it did not yet have a presence.
Either in one of its establishments or through the Internet, you can sign up for its checking accounts, which incorporate a debit card so that you can easily operate with them, either buying or withdrawing money at ATMs.
Once you have your checking account, you can request or manage your debit card both in branches and on the bank's website, on its cell phone application or by calling 866 48 67 782. You can use the same number to report if your card has been lost or stolen.
Both the purchases you pay for with this card, as well as cash withdrawals at ATMs, will be immediately deducted from your account balance.
In the event that you do not have enough money for the transaction, the transaction will be denied or the mechanisms you have contracted to manage overdrafts, such as the automatic transfer from a linked credit line, will be activated.
With Umpqua bank, you can also access a wide range of credit cards, such as the Platinum, or the Secured, which allows you to rebuild your credit score.
