Additional information of Customized Cash Rewards Credit Card for Students
This is a student version of the BoFA Customized Cash Rewards credit card, and it distinguishes itself by giving you three percentages of cash back when you use it.
Each semester there are 6 categories that offer you 3% cash back: online shopping, travel, eating out, pharmacy, home improvement and gasoline. You also get 2% cash back at wholesale and grocery stores. On everything else, you receive a 1% cashback.
The categories have a combined spending limit of $2,500 each semester, and you can choose one per month on the bank's website or app. As long as your account is active, the rewards you accumulate do not expire.
You can redeem the refunds whenever you want, or activate the automatic option that transfers the cashback to you when you reach the established amount.
When you get this credit card, they give you a 0% introductory APR for 18 months. This applies to balance transfers (within 60 days of account opening) and purchases.
In addition to this, there are other commissions:
- $40 for late payment
- Up to $29 per returned payment
- 3% for international operations
- 3% of the amount or $10 for cash advance and balance transfer
- 5% of the amount or $10 for advances at tellers, stores or online (same day)
Cash Rewards credit card for students also includes other benefits. You receive alerts (email or sms), you can see your Fico Score in the app updated every month and overdraft protection, since it allows you to link your checking account to this plastic.
