Additional information of Regular Checking Account

Citibank's Regular Checking accountCitibank checking account is a product that offers you full functionality to operate daily, with a debit card to withdraw money at any ATM at no cost and to make purchases at stores around the world. It also offers the possibility of paying with bank checks, although at a cost of $10 per check.

The account applies a monthly fee of $15 dollars that you can eliminate if you direct deposit an income of at least $250 per month.

This account no longer pays the balance, but you can get a return if you link a Citi Savings account, with which you can get 0.05% APY.

With the Citibank's Regular checking account you can participate in the Citi ThankYou Rewards loyalty program, which allows you to accumulate points every month for the products you have contracted with the entity.

Later, these points can be exchanged for gift cards from many stores, for products from online stores or for hotels, flights, restaurants and leisure.

To open this account, you can apply online through the bank's website. You must be of legal age, legally resident in the United States, and have a Social Security number.

At Busconómico we also analyze the accounts of the main banks in the United States so you can compare. You may be interested, for example, in the Wells Fargo Accounts or those of Chase Bank, which are banks with a strong presence throughout the country.
