Synovus Bank offers several options to choose from among its bank cards, both credit and debit. The former allow you to pay for your purchases in a deferred manner, either at the end of the month at no cost or by financing them in several monthly installments in exchange for an interest rate.
Debit cards, on the other hand, charge purchases directly to your current account balance, and you cannot spend more than the available balance. They do not allow you to defer payments, but you have better control over your money.
Debit cards are linked to a current account with the bank, while credit cards must be requested separately if you want to use them.
Synovus Bank credit cards
Within this type of plastic, the bank includes several options, all of them without annual fee, except the Travel Rewards, which is free the first year but after the second year you have to pay $50.

The other credit cards offered by Synovus are the Rewards and Cash Rewards, which give you back a portion of your purchases, and the Classic Visa, which does not have rewards but is simple if you want to have extra financing when you need it.
Synovus Bank Debit Cards
As mentioned above, Synovus Bank checking accounts include a linked debit card, with which you can use your account balance for purchases or cash withdrawals at the bank's own ATMs and Publix Presto! ATMs for free.
In addition to the regular Visa card, this bank also offers a Visa Platinum debit card, although it does not provide information on product requirements and conditions, but we assume that it will not be available to all customers.
