PNC Bank's SmartAccess prepaid cardPNC Bank's SmartAccess Visa prepaid card offers you the security of knowing that if it is lost or stolen, you will not be able to use it for more money than you have in the balance, so it is very useful for making physical and online purchases, where you can load only the amount you need.

To deposit money to the balance of the card you have the option of making manual charges from any PNC Bank office, from its PNC DepositEasy ATMs or from stores and businesses that have the Visa ReadyLink logo, such as Safeway or 7-Eleven.

Another option you can use to reload the balance of your wallet card is the possibility of automatically depositing your salary (paycheck) in it. To do this you will need to fill out a Direct Deposit form.

This prepaid card does not charge any commission for purchases or cash withdrawals at PNC Bank ATMs. However, you will have to pay a $5 monthly fee ($60 annually) to use it, which you can't avoid.

You can receive alerts via text messages on your cell phone and emails if your balance is low, if a deposit has been made or for each purchase you make.
