With Bank of America's Advantage Plus Banking account you can directly debit your income and your expenses, shop at stores or over the Internet, withdraw cash at ATMs and sign on other products from this financial institution.
This account offers different forms of payment, such as a debit card, the Zelle system or a digital wallet. It is also possible to have paper checks if you buy them in advance.
Unlike the Advantage SafeBalance Banking account, which did not allow overdrafts, with this account you can contract a service to pay the charges that exceed the available balance, at a cost of $35 dollars for each overdraft.
How to save the monthly fee
This Bank of America account applies a monthly fee of 12 dollars, that you can avoid if you meet any of the following conditions:
- Receive a deposit of at least $250 per month, which you can get if you direct deposit your payroll.
- Maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,500.
- Participate in the Preferred Rewards program, for which you must have a combined bank balance of at least $20,000.
